This property was redesigned and built by Designer Turkey. In Kağıthane, Istanbul professionals and young families seek to balance work and life at home. Situated in-between the suburbs and the city center, Kağıthane provides the best of both worlds for it’s residents. Not only that but access and proximity to the best resources life in Istanbul can offer is second-to-none. For this family Kağıthane was perfectly suited for all of their needs. It was now a question of reflecting and serving their tastes so that our clients could thrive in their new space.

ABOUT THE VILLA

The themes of this project’s design were solitude, serenity, and balance. Coming from the bustling center of Istanbul after a hard day’s work, or from the airport, or outdoor recreation, etc. a resident of Kağıthane demands a lot from their living space. Utilizing soft furnishings, color palettes, and materials, right away when you walk in there is an ambiance that distinguishes home from the deluge of sensual assaults imposed from a modern city. The private swimming pool and elevator access further accentuate that divide. But by matching an extremely bustling day, with an extremely meditative night does well to serve our client’s wish for balance.
